Well, that was disappointing.

The 2025 Super Bowl was a blow out. The Philadelphia Eagles beat the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22.

Before the game, I predicted the Eagles were going to win 31-27. I liked the Eagles because of their defense and their great running back Saquon Barkley. Barkley put together one of the best seasons by any running back in NFL history. He ran for over 2,000 yards and has just been dominant.

But I was not expecting the Eagles to win by so much. 

I thought that the Chiefs had a chance because they have Patrick Mahomes. A future hall of famer and a 3-time Super Bowl champion, Mahomes looked like he forgot how to play football. 

At the end of the day, people need to stop comparing Mahomes to Tom Brady (who announced the game for Fox). Because the G.O.A.T does not choke that hard in a Super Bowl.

The Chiefs offense went nowhere because the Eagles defense was lethal. The Eagles have one of the best defensive core in the NFL including rookie Cooper DeJean. They will be one of the best defense in the NFL next year, too. 

The Eagles offense was also great. Jalen Hurts is a young quarterback with a bright future. He went to the University of Alabama and the University of Oklahoma.  He’s got the talent, the work ethic, and the leadership qualities to be one of the best in the league for years to come.

I think that next year I hope there will be a Super Bowl matchup between the Minnesota Vikings and the Buffalo Bills. 

And, I’ll be the first to say it, the Minnesota Vikings will win next year’s Super Bowl.
