Do you love watching or playing sports? How about playing video games that are based on sports? EA FC 25 is a soccer sports game where you can build the best team with the best or favorite players and do tons of things like division rivals, start a league and club with your friends, and more. While the game is simple there’s a lot to do and it can be annoying or fun at times which is what a game is supposed to feel like.
In EA FC 25 you collect cards to build the best team you can possibly get to face other players. There are three main cards based on player careers: base cards which have different forms bronze, silver, and gold. These cards focus on current players and their performances, stats, skills and age which all impact their level. There are bronze cards from 60 to 69 overall, silver cards from 70 – 79 overall, and 80 – 90 plus are gold cards. There are icons and hero cards which are based on retired soccer players.
As the game progresses there are two main events that happen: team of the year or TOTY and team of the season or the TOTS. You could buy these cards from the shop for FIFA points which you could purchase with money or gems gained from completing quests or playing matches and skill games. Most players have three options when they get a player card, you either put on them on the team, keep them on bench reserves if they are untradeable, or sell them if they are tradeable.
EA FC 25 uses art, animations, colors, and characters to help out with the game. They use 2D art of soccer players or team logos when you’re not in a match which includes the events and the main page. When you’re playing a match they use 3D art and animation to help make a realistic soccer match which actually looks almost perfect even though they can fix the faces. Everything in the stadium, your team, the ball, and players, becomes 3D, and the player animations they use during the match are smooth like when shooting the ball, passing the ball, and even the ball movements.
Sound and Music is key in video games and EA FC 25 doesn’t miss. The game adds fitting sounds to everything, when clicking on something it makes a satisfying sound,. In matches they have commentary just like in real life, saying positive or negative things depending on if you hit or miss a goal Having fans cheer or react throughout the match makes every match more dramatic. Even the goal post makes sounds if you score! EA FC 25 also uses songs in their game which you can check out in the EA FC website and so far they used 117 songs. Even though I’m not into music, some of the songs are good or help out with the game by adding sound so that the game doesn’t sound quiet. 
Playing EA FC 25 on mobile is very simple because there are just 5 buttons which are the moving button, the pass button, the slide button which turns into a shoot button when you have the ball, sprint and skill button, and 2nd defense which turns into a through button when you have the ball. As someone who watches soccer it does a good job of replicating soccer. There are also a lot things you can do, like club tournaments which is like a league where many people can join and face other leagues with their teams and you could get rewards and club tournaments tokens to spend on the shop, division rivals where you can face other people or your friends in head to head matches which are like real matches or attack vs attack games which you must win by scoring the most amount of goals and after every match you get division rivals token where you spend them in the shop. The division rivals is very competitive and you must make sure you handle all of the anger. There are also the main events; the two main events in EA FC 25, which also happen every year, are team of the year and team of the season. These are based on the best team of the year and season based on player performances, trophies, and stats.
The animation and art helps make the game fun and smooth. The gameplay allows the game to be simple to understand but a lot do like division rivals, club tournaments, main events, and more. While I’m not a big music fan, there are a lot of songs that are good and help the game feel more alive instead of quiet. And while there is no story mode, the players on the cards are based on real life people with their own soccer career and story. Overall, while the game is simple, there’s a lot to do and it can be annoying or fun at times which is what a game is supposed to feel like. EA FC 25 is not just a sports game, it’s a game where people can explore and learn how to manage a team and learn more about other players.
